Mother cries out to justice system after son is shot and killed

It seems like a recurring theme that we never want to occur again. A black woman loses her child at the hands of gun violence. Just or unjust, that mother will never see her child again. As gut wrenching as it may be to deal with mourning the loss of her son, Jacqueline Daliles wants there to be reformation in the justice system in hopes of helping another mother from having to bury her loved one for the same reason.

Devoid of adequate sleep since July 12th, Daliles yearns for justice and accountability for her son,Dwayne Saddler. No suspects have been identified in the shooting. It’s difficult to find the right solution to fix gun violence in America but listening to mothers like Jacqueline who have been through heartbreak firsthand, is a good place to start.

Like many young black fathers who were gunshot victims, they leave behind their kids who now have their futures altered forever with no father present. Many questions seem to be left unanswered in a case like this. Not many want to readily come forward with information to solve the case so it makes everyone else’s job harder. Daliles found herself frustrated and distrustful of the justice system because she feels that nothing is being done about finding the person accountable for taking her son’s life.
