Feeding Tampa Bay looks for volunteers as it sees growing hunger during pandemic

With the pandemic leaving people around the world without jobs, over 2.7 million Floridians are left struggling while fighting hunger.

Feeding Tampa Bay is considered an essential facility throughout these difficult times and are relying on volunteers to help them get through. Whether you can pack boxes at its facility or distribute groceries at its pantry events, there is an opportunity waiting to help.

“Without our volunteers we would not be able to be here at all and without all the people who have been supporting us through all their donations, time and support they have been phenomenal, we are super grateful for them.” Riyza Jose-Morales, Feeding Tampa Bay Organizer

The food bank offer drive-thru grocery distribution events weekly throughout 10 counties in West-Central Florida.

You can find the local pantry events near you by visiting the Feeding Tampa Bay website.
