Millions of Taylor Swift fans swarmed into Ticketmaster this morning for the presale of tickets to her upcoming Eras tour.
This caused the website to crash. Costumers reported several issues preventing them from completing their purchase, even those who managed to get a presale code.
Ticketmaster addressed the technical issues in response to relentless pressure from fans and costumers, citing that traffic on the website hit unprecedented numbers this morning.
According to Ticketmaster, hundreds of thousands of tickets were successfully purchased today. Presale for select dates and locations has been postponed to prevent the site from being overwhelmed again.
Taylor Swift’s Eras tour begins on March 18 in Glendale, Arizona. The show will come to Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium on April 13, 14, and 15.
NASA to reattempt Artemis 1 launch
Artemis 1, NASA’s unmanned mission aimed at gathering data on the moon, is set to launch tomorrow at 1:01 a.m.
This comes after two failed attempts on Aug. 29 and Sept. 3, where engineers encountered technical issues that prevented a successful launch from happening.
There were also two postponements of the launch due to Hurricane Ian, and more recently, Hurricane Nicole.
In the case of a successful launch, Earth views are expected as early as 10 a.m. tomorrow.
