Mobile Showers
Mobile showers are helping restore dignity in Tampa Bay’s homeless community. Mrbubblez Inc. is a nonprofit organization that’s changing lives.
Mrbubblez Inc. founder, Marcia Hall, travels throughout Tampa to give over 400 showers every month.
“To see someone going to the showers beat up, hopeless, head hanging low,” Hall said, “and come out of those showers with their heads up, with a smile on their face, and with some hope in their eyes. It’s a miracle.”
The organization also provides toiletries, clean underwear and clothes to people in need.

Hometown Hero Cups
A cashier is helping underprivileged kids one cup at a time.
Jonathan Fielding is a marine veteran and former police dispatcher. Though he is no longer in uniform, he still does his part from behind the counter of Mission Barbeque.
“I don’t consider myself an American hero,” Fielding said. “Just because I consider American heroes to be the ones coming home in flag draped coffins.”
The money raised by the cup donations is for a program at Pizzo Elementary that makes sure underprivileged kids have school supplies.
“You know, I’m not currently doing my part in uniform anymore,” Fielding said. “It is what I can still do to help out those guys, you know? Because every little bit counts.”
