Campaign Claim

A former staff member of Trump’s 2016 campaign has accused him of kissing her without consent.

According to The Washington Post, Alva Johnson filed a lawsuit today. The lawsuit states the incident happened at a Tampa rally in August 2016.

Johnson says Trump grasped her hand and would not let go. He leaned in to kiss her and kissed the side of her mouth as she tried to turn away.

The White House press secretary is calling the claims absurd.

Early Voting

Early voting is underway for the Tampa municipal election and the biggest race is for mayor.

Residents will also decide on Tampa City Council races and several amendments.

Seven locations are open now through March 3rd. You can vote at any location as long as you are a Tampa resident.

Election Day is March 5th.

New Fire Station

A new fire station is now open in Hillsborough County.

Fire station 32 is now the largest in the county. It is home to the hazmat unit and special training team.

The Hillsborough County fire rescue chief says the station will help firefighters respond in a more rapid fashion. He also expects to build more stations as Hillsborough County continues to grow.
