COVID-19 has shifted the atmosphere of many college campuses.
The University of South Florida is doing its part to make sure that students, faculty, and staff continue to have a great on-campus experience. Matt Marshall, director of the Marshall Student Center, is one of the many individuals striving to make this happen.
“Our ability to be able to provide those conversations, provide opportunities to gain victory in areas where we can do something to be able to make a difference and allow for our students to play a part in that, that’s where we try to put the positive spin”, Marshall said.
The Marshall Student Center is one building at USF that greatly contributes to the on-campus experience. Sagarika Susarla, junior at USF, is impacted by the changes that have occurred at USF due to COVID-19.
“This semester all of my classes have turned online so I really hardly come to campus, and if I do it’s just for small things that I have to pick up something from the bookstore or come to the MSC to pick up something for work,” Susarla said.
