This investment nearly doubles the 2022-2023 investment, making it the largest housing investment in state history.
$100 million of the funding will go to a second year of the Hometown Heroes program to assist with closing cost and downpayment. This includes teachers, military veterans, first responders, active duty military and law enforcement.
The bill also prohibits laws pertaining to rent control and provides more money for corporations through tax programs.
